The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for the Saboba Constituency, Hon. Charles Binipom Bintin, has formally filed to contest for the party’s parliamentary primaries in the Saboba Constituency.

Member of Parliament (MP) for Saboba, Hon. Charles Binipom Bintin, urged delegates of the party to renew his mandate as parliamentary candidate to enable him continue to transform lives and bring real change to the constituency come 25th April, 2020.

According to the Member of Parliament, the transformational agenda being pursued by the Akufo-Addo led-administration, is being replicated in the constituency as a result of his good works.

“For the three years the NPP has been in power, I have been able to lobby for developmental projects, that is how come most of the communities in the constituency are getting Water, Schools, CHIPS facilities, Scholarships for students, Teacher motivation etc”.

“Saboba deserves better and this is not the time to conduct any experiment. We can’t afford to leave the constituency in the hands of new people who don’t have the necessary experience to march the NDC in this constituency”.

“I have been tried and tested, gone through the mill, so I urge you all to give me a resounding victory on April 25,” the MP said amidst thunderous applause from the crowd.

Mr. Charles Binipom Bintin made the call on Tuesday 18th February, 2020 when he submitted his nomination forms for the upcoming parliamentary primaries in the constituency and a banker’s draft of Gh¢ 20,000.

According the MP, he said NPP parliamentarians contribute Gh¢1,000 every month to support party administration that is why they are exempted from the Gh¢30,000 meant for party development.

Hundreds of party supporters from the constituency thronged the party’s office on Tuesday as they went on a procession through the principal streets of Saboba before submitting the forms to Constituency Parliamentary Elections Committee at the party office.

While urging delegates to renew his mandate, he admonished parliamentary aspirants and supporters to conduct campaigns devoid of insults and character assassination to ensure peace and tranquility prevail after the primary since they will need one another after the primaries.
